5 Quick Tips to See Through All Fake Moisturizer Ratings (You're Being Fooled - Read This!)
More and more moisturizer ratings surface in magazines, on the TV and on the internet every day, but how can you know what's true and what's not?
It's a tricky question, and here are the 5 points I use to determine the validity of all moisturizer ratings that I find.
- Location. Where did you see the review? If it's on TV or in a magazine, there's a high chance that it is a sponsored review. If you find it on a personal website, there's a higher chance that it is valid, but there are exceptions to every rule.
- Tone. What kind of tone does the one making the ratings have, or the person writing the review? Is he or she overly excited or too salesy? There might be something going on.
- Graphics. If you stumble on a website that makes a review and they have all these banners and commercials about the product they're making a review on, chances are they're trying to sell you.
- Integrity. Look at the company, or person and how they look, what have they done before this, have you ever heard anything about them? Do you trust them? It's not always easy to determine this, but sometimes you can see that someone is genuine, and it is a fresh breath of air.
- Intuition. What does your intuition or heart tell you? Is it too good to be true? I have always had good success by listening to my inner guidance.
